About Us
My name is Anne Van Brussel, and my biggest passions are traveling, food, and adventures. I am originally from Korea. But I was adopted by a Belgium family and raised under the European traditions.
I studied Photography at L’ecole de la Ville de Bruxelles, and I also have a bachelor´s degree in Fine Arts from Saint Luc.
My parents introduced me to my first passion: Traveling. I’ve lived a nomadic life for a while. I’ve been to France, Iceland, Italy, Belgium, The UK, Holland, Greece, Fiji, Australia, Hawaii, The USA, Vietnam and many other places in Europe and Asia. (More destinations to be added to this list soon!) Now I live in Canada.
Food has a strong place in my heart, and it is a huge part of my identity. “The faint aroma or taste of something I’ve eaten instantly brings me back a lot of memories.” It allows me to explore and experience life. I love trying new dishes because I can learn from different cultures, traditions and taste delicious food!
I participated in truffle hunting parties, paraglided the hills of New Zealand, skied the Swiss Alps, hiked peaks and valleys of the Canadian Rockies.
I consider myself a brave person who is always looking for my next adventure. One day, I ‘ll explore the coral reef in French Polynesia and then join the team in the force to protect it. I ‘ll tour the Napa Valley wineries and marvel at all it has to offer.
